New Electronics Recycling Law in Effect

The PA Covered Device Recycling Act, effective 1/24/2013, bans all covered devices from landfills. These items will no longer be accepted as trash. Covered devices include desktop computers, monitors, laptops, computer peripherals, e-readers that browse the internet and televisions. The Act does not include cell phones, hand-held calculators, PDAs, MP3 players, motor vehicle components, or appliance components.
